Dr. Chris Longo
Dr. Longo attended Auburn University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree. She worked for several years at Dow Chemical before deciding to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian. While at Dow, she received a Master of Business Administration. Dr. Longo is a 2005 graduate of the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. She has a special interest in dermatology, dentistry, wellness, and pain management. She became Fear Free certified in June, 2016 and wants to help make your pet’s visits to the veterinarian as stress-free as possible.
Dr. Longo grew up in Waveland and is the youngest of six children. Her brothers and sisters continue to live along the Mississippi Gulf coast. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Mississippi Veterinary Medical Association, South Mississippi Veterinary Medical Association, Mobile County Veterinary Medical Association, Veterinary Information Network, American Heartworm Society, and is a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts of America. She is a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Dr. Longo is licensed in Mississippi, Alabama, and Texas. She enjoys spending time with her family, which includes Richard and two rescued dogs and two formerly feral (now very pampered) cats. She loves to read, travel and ride horses, and she and Richard are benefactors at the Biloxi Little Theater.
