How to Prevent Pet Dental Disease

The best way to prevent dental problems for your pet is by bringing your pet in at least once a year for a wellness exam. During these exams, we examine the mouth to determine if a separate appointment is necessary for an advanced dental exam and dental cleaning, or other procedure. We also recommend that you maintain your pet’s mouth from home by brushing their teeth and using products approved by the Veterinary Oral Health Council. We’ll be happy to give you some additional at-home tips and recommendations during your pet’s dental appointment.
