Our In-House Laboratory
With a lab in-house at our animal hospital, we’re able to test samples and get results in minutes. We often use this for more urgent cases, when we need answers right away. For non-urgent cases, we work with an outside lab, who often gets results back to us in 24 hours.
With our in-house lab, we’re able to run the following tests:
- CBCs (complete blood counts)
- Blood chemistry panels
- Fecal analysis
- Cytology (skin cell analysis)
- And more!
Digital X-Rays and Ultrasounds
Imaging technology such as X-rays and ultrasound are vital to veterinary medicine. Since your pet can’t tell our vets what’s wrong, it’s up to us to sort them out. That’s where pet diagnostics come in. Digital X-rays and ultrasound allow our veterinarians to see your pet’s internal structures including their organs, bones, joints, and abdominal cavity. This helps us to diagnose a number of issues including:
- Joint injuries
- Ingested foreign bodies
- Abdominal conditions such as bloat
- Organ abnormalities
- And more
