About Our Pet Surgical Suite
Our state-of-the-art surgical suite features separate preparation, surgery, and recovery areas as well as sterile practices to prevent infections and cross-contamination. We also use advanced monitoring equipment to monitor pulse oximetry, respiration, temperature, and blood pressure before, during, and after pet surgery. All surgeries are performed under injectable or gas anesthesia, and all sedated patients receive an endotracheal tube for oxygen and an intravenous catheter (IV) for fluids. We can also provide pain medications during surgery and after surgery.
Most Common Pet Surgeries We Perform:
- Spay surgery (ovariohysterectomy)
- Neuter surgery (orchiectomy)
- Feline declawing
- Bone (orthopedic) surgeries
- Eye (ophthalmic) procedures
- Exotic animal procedures
- Cancer treatment
If you think your pet is in need of a routine or non-routine pet surgery at Bienville Animal Medical Center, give us a call to set up an appointment for the procedure and/or a diagnostic exam (X-rays, ultrasound, etc).
